Sightseeing in Ngwe Saung
Ngwesaung is a beach resort located 48 km west of Pathein, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar. The beach is 5 hours' drive away from the principal city of Yangon, and an airport is in the works. Opened in March 2000, Ngwe Saung is newer than nearby and more popular Chaungtha Beach, and is designed to attract people with larger holiday budgets.
The Lovers Island is the beauty of Ngwe Saung Beach from where the view of sunset of the Bay of Bengal is an attraction by itself. It is nearby our hotel only 5 minutes to walk across a sand bath along the beach.
Go and see to the elephant camp and feeding to the elephant. And go around to the forest with the elephant for sightseeing. This camp is only 10 miles from our hotel.
Bird Island where you can go for snorkeling in the water is about 5 miles away from the beach. There is a variety of colorful fishes. We can get there by boat.
Ride a bike and enjoy sea breeze and stunning scenery all along the route from Ngwe-Saung Beach to Snake Island (Mway Kyun) where you will be greeted by serenity, gorgeousness and wonderfulness of the place which is a part of the Bay of Bengal that touches the Indian Ocean in the far west.
